The Moment

Im guessing that a lot of people have felt this before
I wrote this awhile ago
Of course when it actually happened

The Moment
The nostrils flare
The face blank
No punishments
Not even a spank

Eyes closed
Head shaking
Arms crossed
Just waiting

Then leaves the room
Without a sound
Nothing to say
Just a frown

At that moment
It was painful to see
To find that mother
Was disappointed in me

Letter to God

I really like this because I was able to write it on the spot
I know it's not the typical rhyming style
But it was exactly what I wanted it to be
(This ones for you mister corrupt to the core)

Dear God
Life aint what it seemed to be
There's many things that I cannot see
Not really sure what it means to be
Free
But fear not
I will get by
As long as I try
Hard not to be
What I am becoming
But I know Lord
That You have the key
Because You are so loving
Soon enough
I will be coming
To Your place of solitude
But not to be rude
I wish to stay a bit longer
Here
In this place we call earth
With all this hate and fear
So I can become stronger
Through Your actions I can become
Something that I wish I could be
Something a little called
Me

You

Here is another one of my typed poems.
I guess I'll be posting up my poems for now.
Hopefully I'll be able to be creative and write about controversial topics like my amazing friends.
This one was probably my second written poem about a girl.
And yes, it is pretty corny.
I have noticed that most of my poems have a Dr. Seuss style.
Dr. Seuss is one of my great inspirations by the way.

You

I was so lonely
I felt so hurt
I wanted to be with you
But I knew it couldn’t work

I would come home
To check up my space
To see if you were on
You know just in case

After a long day at school
No matter what I’ve been through
I would get all better
When I talked with you

We would have convos
Using comments and text
They were so interesting
So I couldn’t wait for the next

But I know
This is all we can be
Only online friends
Which you can agree

Two whole states
We are so far apart
I want to see you
It just breaks my heart

But it won’t matter
We will be together
Ill run to you
Even if it takes forever

But now I pray
That you’ll repeat this too
These words Imma say
Which are: I love you

It

Hello. This is my first blog and I decided to post up a poem.
This is the first poem I have written down on paper.
Please don't criticize my work too harshly.
It was written with many emotions and feelings at that time.

It

It’s in all different shapes and types
It cannot be stopped or ignored
It halts our lives many times
But we still seem to move forward

It sneaks in the darkness of the day
And it dances in the brightness of the night
We see it all the time
But not just using out sight

It can weight up to or over a ton
And yet It’s lighter than sunshine
It can be big huge and enormous
But it’s so small and so fine

It’s in our MP3s and iPods
Our laptops and briefcases
It breeds in our wonderful internet
Xangas Facebooks and Myspaces

It is everywhere

It’s in the air that we breathe
The air that we’ve created
It’s in the food that we eat
The food that we generated

It’s in the ground that we walk on
The ground that we’ve paved
It’s in the tunnels that we go through
The tunnels that we’ve caved

It’s in the pictures that we’ve taken
The pictures that we’ve Photoshopped
It’s in the security fences that we made
The fences that we’ve hopped

It’s in the clothes that we buy
The clothes that we wear
It’s in the people that we have sex with
Those diseases that we share

It is everything

It’s all the shit that you say
The thing that you believe
It’s in the goals you want to get
The stuff you want to achieve

It’s on the crap that you wear
When you’re going downtown
It’s all your facial expressions
Glad surprised frown

You think It’s fun to use
When it comes to others
It’s like a joke to you
Especially on their mothers

You use It all the time
When you’re talking to me
It’s become a part of you
Only if you can see

It is in you

Unfortunately
Because It is everything
I cannot hide from It
Even if I were to be a king

It doesn’t matter if I’m a chink
Because It’s in everyone too
From all different races
Cracker nigger or jew

I tried many times to avoid it
I jumped ran and ducked
But It is inevitable
So I’m pretty much fucked

I want It to go away
So I try sigh and cry
I’ll accept that It exists
And It’ll stay with me till I die

It is in me
